Becoming a part of Chapel Hill UMC is acknowledging the need we each have for community. We believe our faith is personal, but it is never private. Connecting with others is part of connecting with God. In the trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, we have the ultimate model for living in community.

Membership is a commitment to the community of servants called Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. You may become a member through the sacrament of baptism, through reaffirming your vows of belief, or by transferring membership from another church or denomination.
All are welcome to worship and participate in our church activities. Membership in only required for voting on Official Church activities, including administrative officers and business matters of the church.

CHAPEL HILL 101
Chapel Hill 101 is a class that introduces persons to our theology, history, mission, and hopes the future . The class is interactive and allows time for questions, comments, and clarifications.

All sessions are held from 2:00-3:30 PM in our lower level at Chapel Hill.

CHAPEL HILL 101
Chapel Hill 101 currently offered as a Zoom class usually held once a month on a Sunday afternoon.
This class, led by Pastor Jeff, will introduce you to the theology, history, and polity (organizational structure of United Methodism), as well as provide you the opportunity to get acquainted with others interested in learning more about Chapel Hill. The class is interactive and allows time for questions, comments, and clarifications. All are welcomed!
